W = Tdcos

W = 60 × 20 × cos(35°)

W = 982.98 J✅

b) Determine the work done by the frictional force. (Hint: W =fkdcos(180°)) (3 points).

W = fkdcos(180°)

W = 30 × 20 × cos(180°)

W = -600J✅

c) Determine the coefficient of kinetic friction. (Hint: mk =fk/FN) (2 points).

mk =Fk/FN

FN = Fg

FN = mg − T

TSin(35°) = 10×10 − 34.32 = 65.58 N

mk =30÷ 65.58
